Topeka Rescue Mission is looking for a Housing Support Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in transforming lives!
In this role, you'll assist individuals and families in securing housing, breaking down barriers to stability, and supporting them every step of the way. From organizing the housing office and assisting associates to working directly with program participants and landlords, you’ll be the bridge that helps people move from uncertainty to security.

What You’ll Do:
✅ Help individuals and families secure and maintain housing
✅ Provide case management and work alongside the Rapid Rehousing Team
✅ Conduct home visits and assist program participants in achieving long-term stability
✅ Develop strong relationships with landlords to create lasting housing solutions
✅ Organize and optimize office procedures to better serve those in need
✅ Work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where no two days are the same!
What We’re Looking For:
✔ AA degree or one year of experience in social work or related field preferred
✔ Strong communication, mediation, and organizational skills
✔ Knowledge of government housing programs and the rental market
✔ A heart for service and the ability to connect with people from all backgrounds
✔ A valid KS Driver’s License (Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus!)
