Role Overview :
As a Child Counselor and Play Therapist you will work with children and their families to overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, bullying, and family difficulties. If you have an interest in working with adults and couples, that's a bonus! You will be part of a supportive team that alleviates the burdens often faced by solo practitioners, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care to your clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide psychodynamic or depth-oriented therapy to children and their families.
- Address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family difficulties.
- Engage in play therapy to facilitate healing and communication.
- Collaborate with a team of therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress.
- Participate in regular peer supervision and professional development opportunities.
- Stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in child counseling and play therapy.
