Join Our Team as a BBQ Food Truck Operator/Catering Associate!
Job Overview:
We’re seeking a passionate and dependable BBQ Food Truck Operator/Catering Associate to join our growing team. This role combines the excitement of working in a mobile kitchen environment with the satisfaction of catering events. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, helping to prepare, serve, and deliver incredible BBQ to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Truck Operations: Drive the food truck safely to scheduled locations, set up, and tear down at each site.
- Cook & Serve: Master our BBQ recipes and prepare mouthwatering dishes to perfection, maintain Tops high-quality standards.
- Customer Service: Greet customers with a smile, take orders, and ensure a fantastic dining experience.
- Food Safety: Ensure proper handling and storage of food in compliance with safety regulations.
- Clean & Maintain: Follow food safety protocols to keep the truck clean and in top condition.
- Teamwork: Coordinate with catering team and restaurant staff for event preparation.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of supplies, restock as needed, and ensure the truck is fully equipped.
Qualifications:
- Previous food service, catering, or kitchen experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for BBQ and a love for delivering great food experiences is a plus
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Successfully pass motor vehicle screening
- Must have current auto insurance coverage
