What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electro-Mechanical Assembler System Builder position at TOPS Staffing?
TOPS Staffing has partnered with a well established manufacturing company who is currently looking for a qualified Electro-Mechanical Assemblers to add to its growing fabrication and build department. In this position you will be tasked with building industrial liquid feed systems that are utilized in a multitude of industries. This position will involve working with pvc piping, building supports or structure of the unit, assembling various sized pumps, and light electrical work to hook up power and controls to the unit.
Job Details:
Contract to hire
Located in RIDC West Industrial park
Hours: 6:30am to 3pm – Monday to Friday schedule - Flextime available once hired on directly by company
Payrate: Up to $20 per hour based on experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work from blueprints or drawings to do assembly of fluid control systems
- Mechanical assembly
- Light electrical assembly
- Plumbing units with PVC pipe, gluing, cutting and fitting work
- Functional testing of finished units
- Pull parts for unit builds out of inventory utilizing a bill of materials and document pulled inventory properly
- Forklift operation
- Ability to work overtime on an as needed basis
- Position requires basic computer competency
- All work requires utilizing a combination of hand and power tools
Education and Experience:
- Looking for a minimum of one year of related manufacturing or production experience or a related technical degree.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas, welding, machining, mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and/or mechanic or maintenance
- Must be able to measure accurately Minimum of a GED or Highschool diploma education
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs on occasion
- Ability to be on your feet for entire shift
- Position requires constant physical movement, standing, bending, kneeling, stretching, and lifting
