Job Description
Topsarge Business Solutions is seeking a skilled Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Instructor to support Navy EOD training at EODTEU-1 on Naval Base Point Loma. This full-time, on-site position plays a critical role in preparing Navy EOD units for deployment and Major Combat Operations through high-impact training and mentorship. Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and scenario-based training for Navy EOD personnel.
- Teach mission planning, threat assessment, and post-mission analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety and Navy high-risk training standards.
- Maintain qualifications, training records, and instructor evaluations.
- Collaborate with other instructors and training leads to refine content.
- Support field exercises and handle government-provided training aids.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a graduate of NAVSCOLEOD or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of EOD operational experience (active duty or DoD).
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
- Physically able to instruct in classroom and outdoor training environments.
- Able to pass high-risk instructor screenings (medical, psychological, urinalysis).
- Valid driver's license and base access eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience training at EODTEU or in EOD Unit Level Training (ULT).
- Familiarity with Navy instructional standards and OPNAVINST 1500.75.
- Knowledge of UMS or WMD response a plus.
