Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks that support the efficient operation of our office. This role requires strong phone etiquette, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The Office Clerk will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
Duties
- Greet visitors and clients at the front desk, providing assistance as needed.
- Manage incoming phone calls using professional phone systems, directing calls to appropriate staff members.
- Maintain office organization through effective filing systems and document management.
- Assist with entering work orders and invoices. Register sold units for warranty. Assist with bills. Process warranty claims. Assist with new hire documents, process applications, etc
- Perform proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism in all communications.
- Support office management tasks including inventory control and supply ordering.
- Utilize Google Suite applications for various administrative tasks such as document creation, data entry, and communication.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline office processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Familiarity with office management practices and procedures is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities is crucial for maintaining high standards in documentation.
