Topsider Building Systems, Inc., designer and prefabricator of distinctive high-end, custom homes, sold and shipped worldwide since 1968, has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Receptionist/Admin Assistant at our corporate offices in Clemmons, North Carolina.
The successful candidate will have a professional business demeaner - and be flexible and adaptive to a fast-paced environment. Along with excellent communication skills, candidates should be well organized and attentive to detail.
REQUIREMENTS:
(1) High school education, preferably with some college or Associates degree.
(2) Minimum 3 years previous office experience as a receptionist/administrative assistant or equivalent. Must have excellent skills in Excel, Word and Outlook. Minimum keyboarding 50 wpm. Database user experience a plus. (All skills will be tested).
(3) Experience/familiarity with standard office machines, e.g., mail machines, copiers, and general office machines.

(4) Experience/user knowledge of all courier/shipping services, e.g., FEDEX, UPS, USPS, etc.
(5) Pleasant, professional poise and demeanor.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
(1) Ensuring a friendly and welcome reception to all guests, directing phone traffic that does not come in via our auto-attend feature, and managing the public areas of the offices.
(2) Preparing and mailing Company marketing and information packages, inventorying printed materials, ordering office supplies.
(3) Maintaining the mailroom and processing the company's mail and small package shipping requirements. Ability to lift 25 lbs.
(4) Responding to Internet lead inquiries and maintaining the client database, assigning leads to sales staff, prepping sales reports and maintaining paper files containing associated client information.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Part-time hours are somewhat flexible centering around 9:00am to 3:30pm Mon-Fri, with a half hour lunch break – up to 29 hours per week. Additional work hours and some scheduling flexibility may be required from time-to-time.
COMPENSATION: $15/hour to start.
