torch Recovery Center is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning of our facility. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to support a safe and comfortable environment for staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility, identifying maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Perform basic repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain the building’s interior and exterior, including minor carpentry, painting, and landscaping tasks.
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with external vendors for major repairs and services.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and order replacements as needed.
- Assist in emergency situations such as power outages, plumbing failures, or other urgent maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or residential setting.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, and kneeling.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
