- Associate degree or 2 years of formal technical training, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and technical instructions.
- Availability for 1st shift (4-10’s), working from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.
- Minimum 5 years of experience programming with CAM software.
- Ability to process part plans, program, set up, and operate CNC equipment independently.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality processes.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience programming, setting up, and operating DMG Mori Mill Turn centers.
- Hands-on experience with Haas and Mazak CNC Mills.
- Proficiency in Mastercam programming.
- Background in a prototyping or low-volume production environment.
Workplace safety is a priority at Torch. Candidates must receive and present an OSHA 10-Hour Training Course for General Industry certification (either a card from the Department of Labor or certificate of completion from an authorized trainer) within the first 90 days of employment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed training prior to employment. Training may be completed online.
