- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- 5 years of experience in leave management. Experience with laws such as FMLA, ADA, and other federal/state leave regulations and workers compensation.
- Knowledge of all pertinent Federal and State regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office with emphasis on spreadsheet and data manipulation using Excel.
- Ability to respond effectively and timely to sensitive information.
- Must be self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, collaborative and communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must conduct self with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a team environment contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SHRM or HRCI professional HR certification highly preferred
- Prior experience working in a Government Contracting environment helpful
- System experience with leave administration software, and/or HCM absence management modules
