Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Intern to support a Technical Program Manager in analyzing and evaluating documentation related to contract deliverables on an Army Aviation and Missile Command (AvMC) contract. This is a temporary, on-site role with flexible hours, running until the end of FY25. The Mechanical Engineering Intern will be responsible for conducting analysis and providing data analytics based on technical data supplied by Engineers across various teams located around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate documentation required for managing contract deliverables.
• Provide data analytics and insights from technical data provided by engineers across multiple teams.
• Support the Technical Program Manager with various program-related tasks and initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to provide updates and recommendations on contract performance and deliverables.
• Assist with the supervision, training, and coordination of team members when needed.

Job Requirements

• US Citizen. 
• At least 18 years old. 
• Enrolled in an ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering Program.
• In good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0. 
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• On-site work is required; teleworking is not regularly available.
• Commitment to a year round schedule during the internship period. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active secret security clearance.
• In good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.5.
• Proven experience in team-related environments (e.g., being part of a team, leading a team, or managing projects).
• Experience with supervising or training peers or junior team members.
