Electricians install electrical systems in the construction industry at job sites and are knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code and local jurisdictions. Prior electrical installation background is required.Scope of WorkTorgeson Electric Company is currently seeking skilled Electricians. Journeyman electricians install electrical systems in the construction industry at job sites and are knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code and local jurisdictions. Prior electrical installation background is required.PayBased on experience. Qualified Journeyman Electricians starting at $30.00 / hour, Sign on Bonus up to $2000.Hours40 or more per weekTransportationTravel allowance provided, if requiredLodgingProvided if RequiredReq. ExperienceJourneyman's License preffered but not required. Duties & TasksInstallation of Electrical systems
Direct and train apprentice to Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears.
Ability to interpret prints and able to generate RFI's for projects
OSHA 10 required (reimbursement available upon completion)
Quality Control electrical installation
Ensuring jobsite safety
Fill out daily pre-job safety plan for the work that will be performed
