DescriptionTorgeson Electric is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented VDC Specialist to support our Virtual Design and Construction efforts.
Job Description
The VDC Specialist will be responsible for utilizing VDC tools and processes to create and manage BIM models, ensure project coordination, and collaborate with various teams to ensure successful project execution. This role involves hands-on work with VDC technologies, such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, and requires a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction.

- 3-5 years of experience in VDC or electrical detailing.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and other VDC tools.
- Strong understanding of BIM modeling, clash detection, and coordination processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially with project managers, engineers, and field teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for project data tracking and reporting.
