Responsibilities
Appointment Scheduling:
· Coordinate with clients to schedule pest control services at their convenience.
· Manage a calendar or scheduling system to ensure efficient use of technicians' time.
· Confirm appointments with clients and provide necessary information about the service.
Customer Communication:
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails from clients seeking pest control services.
- Provide information about available services, pricing, and any preparation needed before the pest control visit.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and rescheduling requests.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, service history, billing information and scheduling details.
- Input and update client information into scheduling software.
Route Planning:
- Optimize technician routes for efficiency, minimizing travel time between appointments.
- Consider geographic locations, types of services needed, and technician availability when planning routes.
Collaboration with Technicians:
- Communicate effectively with pest control technicians to ensure they have all the information they need for each appointment.
- Relay any special instructions or requests from clients to the technicians.
Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise, such as emergencies or unforeseen delays.
- Work closely with clients to find suitable alternatives in case of scheduling challenges.
Follow-Up:
- Conduct follow-up calls or emails to gather feedback from clients after pest control services have been completed.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues that may have arisen during the service.
Sales Support:
- Provide information about additional services or preventative measures that clients may find beneficial.
- Offer promotions or discounts to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
Job Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates with additional education/certificates or training in customer service are a plus!
Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with customers and company team members.
- Ability to explain pest control services, answer inquiries, and address customer concerns in a clear and concise manner.
Customer Service Experience
· Previous experience in a customer service role is often preferred. Experience in the pest control industry can be a plus but is not always required.
Interpersonal Skills:
· Ability to build rapport with customers and maintain a positive and professional demeanor, especially when dealing with challenging situations.
Problem-Solving Skills
· Capacity to analyze customer issues, identify solutions, and resolve problems promptly.

· Proficiency in using basic computer programs and customer relationship management software for data entry, scheduling, and communication.
