Then this could be the job YOU have been looking for. Bay Area specialty property management and development firm is seeking a professional Property Manager for a Class A Office portfolio. This will manage a mix of office buildings within the Oakland area. Looking for someone who is passionate about engaging with tenants and has a strong financial knowledge. This position will be overseeing an APM and PA level employees. Responsibilities and Duties
- Communicating with potential tenants
- Overseeing lease administration and interpreting terms to tenants, as needed
- Maintaining tenant and vendor relations
- Reviewing potential and current vendor contracts
- Going out to bid for vendor services, negotiating terms and selecting vendors
- Mentoring and developing employees
- Communicating with tenants on various work order requests or escalated facility issues
- Preparing and analyzing financial reporting for property
- Providing guidance to staff in regard to receivables and payables
- Overseeing CapEx and TI projects including: selecting contractors, managing timelines, ensuring proper codes are met, and coordinating all aspects of construction projects
- Following up with tenants on various requests
- Preparing CAM reconciliations
- Preparing budgets and variance reporting
- Reviewing financials and providing findings to Ownership
- Providing suggestions to Ownership team of changes or improvements potentially needed
- Communicating with prospective tenants to provide information on space
- Working with Administrator to coordinate property events
- Working on green projects and initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
- BA or BS degree
- 5 years as a Property Manager in commercial
- CA RE license desired
- Ability to work well with a team
- Ability to work well under deadlines
- Strong customer service skills
