Job Summary :
As a Junior Estimator, you will play a key role in assisting the estimating team with cost analysis, budgeting, and the preparation of estimates for commercial interiors and healthcare construction projects. Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to assess scope of work.
- Support senior estimators with the gathering of material and labor costs, including subcontractor and vendor quotes.
- Analyze historical data to develop cost models and assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate project cost estimates.
- Perform takeoffs from drawings and blueprints to determine quantities and material costs.
- Help with bid submissions, including compiling proposals and coordinating project timelines.
- Maintain records of estimates, change orders, and project documentation for future reference.
- Assist in the preparation of cost control reports and support project teams throughout the lifecycle of a project.
- Stay current with industry trends, cost data, and construction methods.
