Position Overview:
Tosh Farms is looking for a highly motivated, bilingual, experienced Human Resources Recruiter to join our team and play a key role in building a strong and diverse workforce. As an HR Recruiter, you will be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle, from job creation to sourcing and screening candidates to conduct interviews, making offers, and onboarding new hires. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and use the latest technology to maximize efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the subject matter expert on Recruitment and Onboarding by staying up to date on all applicable employment laws, regulations, and compliance
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding
- Effectively source, recruit, interview candidates (lots of phone calls & in-person interviews)
- Establish and build relationships/networks with local organizations, schools, and universities by participating in community events, tours, careers fairs, or internships to bring awareness of the opportunities at Tosh Farms
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define talent needs, job requirements, and job creation
- Conduct weekly calls with hiring managers with open requisitions to report on recruiting status, applicant flow, and propose pro-active strategies to address any concerns related to recruitment
- Research market compensation using various online databases and other local resources
- Conduct new hire orientation and ensure all materials, including presentations, are current and reflect accurate information
- Communicates important information (related to job, compensation, benefits) during the delivery of employment offer
- Respond to employee and outside inquiries regarding pre-screening processes, onboarding, internal job transfers, job ads, and employment verifications
- Conducts routine communication during employee’s probationary period to ensure all employee’s needs and concerns are addressed timely and accurately
- Maintain company database of all job descriptions
- Be an active participant in company-wide HR initiatives
- Perform other necessary duties as assigned

What you will need to succeed in this role:
- Effective communicator (who doesn’t mind spending the bulk of the work day communicating) with the ability to connect with people both inside and outside the organization in a formal and informal setting
- High energy self-starter
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- 1 year or more of recruiting experience with knowledge of recruitment strategies
- Strong decision-making & problem-solving skills with independent decision-making ability
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Excellent record keeping skills with a keen eye for detail
- Superb computer literacy in all MS Office & HR software
Physical requirements of this role:
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to perform clerical work in an office setting
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 15 pounds frequently to access various office supplies/equipment
- Ability to understand spoken instructions and communicate effectively over the phone
- Requires close vision for computer work and the ability to read documents and small print
- Ability to work in sow farms around livestock and in dusty environments to gain knowledge about the different jobs and opportunities at Tosh Farms
- Operate a company vehicle and maintain an acceptable driving record
