Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Delivery Manager. The Delivery Manager will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled project managers, and scrum masters, responsible for the delivery of TGCS products and services for the retail market. The Manager will develop and nurture key relationships with product management, solutions group, business partners, sales, finance, and other supporting groups to ensure the timely release of solutions that will fully satisfy demanding internal and external customer expectations. The Manager will provide team leadership to their direct reports. This position requires people management experience, proven knowledge of project management skills to drive cross-functional team activities with the understanding of requirements and business drivers for new products and solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of junior to experienced project managers and scrum masters focused on delivery of professional services to clients. Provide oversite ensuring delivery of high-quality product releases and functionality. Lead the team to successfully manage and coordinate complex, multi-phased projects by assisting your team with guiding cross-functional teams and business partners to define, scope, plan, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Manage the performance of the project management team ensuring commitments are met with respect to quality, budget, schedule, communications and governance processes.
Strategic Promote continuous process improvement and sound delivery practices across a team that will enable the delivery of innovative solutions. Ensuring Agile practices are applied and followed. Ensure scrum masters and project managers identify and resolve problems, gaps, and challenges for their assigned projects quickly.
Act as the initial point of contact for the teams’ escalations for project activities, schedule, and status. Ensuring proper communication on development deliverables as appropriate up through executive management levels within the organization. Enabling the sharing of best practices across the delivery teams. Foster an environment of collaboration, trust, and accountability for departmental and cross-functional teams.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- 4 years people management experience including performance management, motivation, career development and dealing with conflict.
- 6 years managing development projects. Strong Team Leadership skills
- 5 years of experience in Agile development.
- Extensive experience in managing development teams and projects.
- Good analytic and logical problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing project budgets including ETC, EAC and ETD for cost and profit
- Strong collaborative and teaming skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English
- Domain Knowledge of Retail Products and Solutions
