Position Overview:
The outbound sales manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue across our “turn” business. This is an end-to-end sales role where you will be responsible for generating leads, closing deals, and hiring/training new employees. You will take a hands-on approach to building prospecting lists, personally connecting out to potential clients, and driving revenue growth. As an integral part of the sales team, your success will be based on your ability to build relationships, close sales, and mentor new team members to replicate your successes across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting
- Generate net new leads through personal outbound efforts, including but not limited to door-to-door prospecting, hosting local events, attending trade shows, and utilizing other creative outreach methods.
- Build and manage prospecting lists to ensure a continuous pipeline of opportunities.
- Cultivate relationships with potential clients and maintain active engagement to convert them into sales opportunities.
Closing:
- Own the sales process from initial prospecting to closing deals and driving net new revenue.
- Engage with decision-makers, pitch products/services, address objections, and guide prospects toward signing contracts.
- Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure smooth handoffs and a seamless transition of new clients.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing directly to company revenue growth.
- Training and Development:
- Mentor, train, and develop new hires in each region, sharing your expertise and experience to enhance their sales skills.
- Establish scalable and repeatable sales processes that can be implemented by new team members.
- Provide feedback and continuously improve the onboarding and training experience for new employees.
Qualifications:
- Bi-lingual (fluent in Spanish)
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in door-to-door or direct sales.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong ability to prospect, self-generate leads, and maintain a high level of self-motivation.
- Experience in training or mentoring new team members is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Comfortability with using CRM systems and sales tools to manage leads and track performance.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in outbound sales or field sales is highly desirable.
- Experience in managing multiple prospects and deals at various stages of the sales funnel.
- Ability to think creatively and adapt strategies to different markets.
