Total Aviation Staffing is seeking an IFR Pilot for a Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operation in St. Louis, Missouri . This position offers a unique opportunity to combine advanced aviation skills with life-saving medical missions. Key Responsibilities
- Command an EC145 SPIFR / NVG helicopter under CAMTS guidelines.
- Execute safe and efficient flight operations for HAA missions, including 24-hour rotations.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks, ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote the organization’s services.
- Assist with loading and unloading patients and medical equipment as needed.
- Support the Safety Management System (SMS) and company safety initiatives like Destination Zero .
Qualifications
Commercial Helicopter License with Instrument Rating.
2,000 total flight hours (1,500 helicopter, 1,000 PIC helicopter, 500 turbine helicopter).
Must meet a body weight limit of 235 lbs .
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
