Responsibilities:
- Design and model tooling to support engine maintenance and component repair.
- Coordinate manufacturing of tooling to meet quality and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with internal shops or external vendors to oversee tooling and fixture production.
- Ensure compliance with the Repair Station Quality Control Manual and Engineering processes.
- Maintain proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for effective tool design.
- Develop evaluation criteria for tooling calibration, load testing, and maintenance.
- Demonstrated expertise in tool design and manufacturing methods.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling, tool drawing creation, and GD&T standards.
- Ability to define critical features and develop evaluation criteria for tools.
- Preferred proficiency in Autodesk Inventor.
- Preferred knowledge of tools and methods for finite element analyses.
