Position Summary:
Total Care Home Care is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Sales Consultant to expand our client base and strengthen our presence in the Portland, Maine market. This role is crucial in building relationships with referral sources, generating leads, and ultimately increasing the number of individuals we serve. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for senior care and a proven track record in sales and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:
- Identify and target key referral sources, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, physician offices, and community organizations.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the home care industry.
- Build and Maintain Relationships:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with referral sources through regular communication and in-person visits.
- Represent Total Care Home Care at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to potential and existing clients.
- Generate and Manage Leads:
- Proactively generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referral programs.
- Qualify leads and conduct thorough assessments to determine client needs.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Sales and Contract Management:
- Guide potential clients through the sales process, from initial contact to contract signing.
- Negotiate and finalize service agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with the care coordination team to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress towards goals, and market trends to management.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall growth and success of Total Care Home Care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the healthcare or senior care industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the Portland, Maine healthcare market.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and clients.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Passion for helping seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of home care regulations and best practices is a plus.
