Executive Business Developer – Environmental Services / Janitorial Sales

We are seeking a motivated and results-proven Local Executive Business Developer to lead our dynamic Environmental Services Sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, with a focus on territory management and business development in the Tri-County (Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade) territory area.

Preference will be given to candidates with 10 Years experience and a proven track record in closing new business in selling to Health Care Facilities, Commercial Retail / Office Spaces, and Property Managers / Building Owners.

This role requires a great attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. As an Executive Business Developer and Sales Leader, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and engaging potential new customers within your designated territory.

Major Responsibilities :

Lead Development / Technical Assistance / Quoting & Bidding / Closing

  • Generate new business opportunities, following up on warm leads, current industry contacts, and self-generated leads including warm and cold calling / outreach. Develop tailored action plans to close new business.
  • Acts as a technical consultant, understanding the environment, able to walk the facilities to take measurements, and help determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Provide technical sales support and product knowledge to clients in our sector.
  • Identify new client’s opportunities and pain points prior to working with bid team on RFPs and quotes.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Answer client questions about credit terms, products, pricing, and availability.
  • You are responsible for all aspects of closing new business.  The main goal is to close sales on 33% of proposals delivered.

Building on New Client Relationships

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new clients through effective communication and routine follow-up.
  • Utilize upselling techniques to maximize revenue from new clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify potential business development opportunities.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Other Key Responsibilies / Networking

  • Attend industry events and networking functions (approximately 4 per month) to promote products and services.
  • Deliver sales presentations to a range of prospective clients in targeted industries.
  • Review, follow up, and work pipeline of leads in CRM system.
  • Deliver high-quality weekly and monthly reports.
  • Develop a strategic yearly sales plan with the executive team.
  • Collaborate and assist in building a winning sales team.
  • Education and Experience & Educational Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.   College degree preferred.
  • Must be Fully proficiency in English, Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in territory sales (Tri County South Florida), in B2B environments 10 Years.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in selling to Health care facilities / Commercial strip centers / commercial landlords and property managers.
  • Janitorial sales experience preferred. Commercial security services, Pest Control, Facility Maintenance, Landscaping, or other similar industry experience could substitute the Janitorial sales experience
  • Experience with technical sales proposals and a Proven track record selling though Bid / RFP processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, follow-up, and negotiation skills, and ability to make swift, sound judgments.
  • Winning contract negotiation skills.
  • Strong skills in selling to an existing professional network (Tri County), warm, & cold calling and direct sales methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple new accounts effectively.
  • Previous experience with client management required.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems required. Salesforce knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to communicate with different levels of internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively.
  • Respond to all calls & emails timely (within 1 day, even on weekends and after hours) - as requested or needed by clients.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Experience understanding budgets, P / L, and forecasting.
  • Must be able to regularly travel to various locations within South Florida. Valid driver’s license required.

    Base : 65K to 100K – Depending on experience / success. Generous Commissions

    Target Compensation : 120K to 200K

    Required to frequently inspect the project and may be exposed to various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. This position is performed in both outside weather conditions, and a professional office environment.
