Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Install fire sprinkler systems according to specifications and local codes.
• Conduct inspections and testing of existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on fire sprinkler systems, including soldering and stick welding as necessary.
• Utilize power tools and equipment for pipe threading and system installation.
• Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure seamless integration of fire protection systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Experience

• Proven experience in fire sprinkler installation or related construction fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with codes and standards governing fire protection systems is essential.
• Proficient in using various tools, including rigs, calipers, power tools, and equipment for pipe threading.
• Basic math skills are necessary for measuring and calculating material requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $25.40 - $35.00 per hour
