Job Responsibilities
Apprentice Support – Assist licensed electricians with residential electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
Tool & Material Handling – Help with setup, teardown, and organization of tools and electrical materials at job sites
Electrical Troubleshooting – Observe and assist in diagnosing electrical issues under the guidance of a licensed technician
System Installation – Support in the installation of control systems, wiring, lighting, and outlets in residential homes
Blueprint & Diagram Learning – Study and begin to interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams
Safety & Code Compliance – Follow safety procedures and learn about national, state, and local electrical codes
Customer Interaction – Learn how to communicate with homeowners and support electricians in delivering excellent service
Documentation – Assist in documenting service details and updates using Service Titan or similar trade software
Qualifications
Eagerness to Learn – Interest in the electrical trade and willingness to grow through hands-on experience
Mechanical Aptitude – Basic understanding of tools and mechanical systems is a plus
Team Player – Ability to take direction, ask questions, and work well with experienced technicians
Physical Requirements – Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physically demanding tasks
Driver’s License – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Dependability – Punctual, responsible, and ready to commit to learning the trade
