Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sewer and Drain Cleaning Technician to join our team. This position involves using advanced tools and techniques, including hydro-jetting and rigid snake systems, to diagnose and clean residential, commercial, and industrial sewer and drain systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with these systems and a strong commitment to providing high-quality service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform sewer and drain cleaning services using hydro-jetting and rigid snake systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues in residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Inspect and clear blockages, debris, and buildup from sewer lines and drain systems.
- Operate hydro-jetting equipment to effectively clear clogs and restore proper flow.
- Use rigid snake systems to navigate tight spaces and remove blockages.
- Provide accurate and detailed reports on the services performed and any recommendations for repairs or maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
- Communicate with customers to explain services, provide recommendations, and answer any questions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Handle emergency situations when needed, offering prompt and professional service.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sewer and drain cleaning, with hands-on experience using hydro-jetting and rigid snake systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating hydro-jetting machines and rigid snake systems, as well as other plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to [X] lbs), work in tight or confined spaces, and perform tasks that may require bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve plumbing issues.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Safety and Compliance: Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety procedures, and the ability to adhere to regulations.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

- Experience with video inspection systems for sewer lines.
