Seeking a Control Technician in Carrollton, TX.
Schedule :
Sunday to Tuesday from 6 am to 6 pm and Wednesday from 6 am to 12 pm.
Responsible for the manufacturing and packaging equipment and requires strong mechanical skills including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, conveyor systems, and PLC usage
Core duties and responsibilities :
Participate in and direct troubleshooting activities in the event of equipment failure including failure analysis, problem-solving, and prevention
Troubleshoot, maintain, and program PLCs (Allen Bradley Studio 5000).
Program, troubleshoot, and optimize Fanuc robotic systems.
Utilize CAD system to maintain system drawings.
Skills and experience :
Allen Bradley PLCs, 500 and 5000 software platforms : 5 years (Preferred)
Must have the ability to replace, install and program AB Powerflex VFDs.
Candidate should have the ability to replace Panel View HMIs and download applications utilizing FactoryTalk Studio.
Experience with servo drives, motors, and control components
Understands symbols on P&ID s and tag references online layout drawing.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
Working knowledge of statistical process control methodologies.
Working knowledge of reading electrical schematics and prints.
Knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards.
Must have at least 3 years of troubleshooting electrical controls while utilizing a multimeter from 480 volts AC to 24 VDC.
