Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Healthcare Retail Operations Coordinator to support our management team in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a keen understanding of store management practices. Additionally, our ideal candidate will possess experience in the healthcare/retail fields.
Duties
- Assist the Office Manager in daily operations, including budgeting, payroll, inventory management, and accounts receivable.
- Supervise staff, providing training and support to ensure high standards of performance.
- Learn the areas of optician, technician, patient coordinator, and perform those duties as staffing necessitates
- Assist in the role of office manager when the person in that position is out of office at any time
- Become proficient with insurance verification and ensure that appointments are confirmed with insurance well in advance of the patient visit.
- Negotiate with vendors for purchasing supplies and managing stock levels effectively.
- Monitor store performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment for customers.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally to enhance satisfaction.
Skills
- Proficient in math for handling transactions and inventory calculations.
- Experience with cash registers and POS systems for efficient sales processing.
- Experience with the optical/eye care world a plus including optician and technician skills.
- Administrative skills to support various operational tasks.
- Ability to supervise staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Knowledge of store management principles, including inventory control and merchandising strategies.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
