Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to employee emails, providing excellent customer service.
- Office Organization: Maintain a well-organized workspace and manage office supplies.
- Administrative Support: Assist with bookkeeping, record-keeping, and data entry into financial, personnel, and legal records.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the onboarding process by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, scheduling interviews, and supporting hiring and recruitment procedures.
- HR Administration: Maintain employee files, update personnel records, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Benefits Administration: Assist in enrolling employees in company benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans, and handle related inquiries.
- Employee Relations: Support HR with employee engagement initiatives, conflict resolution, and internal communication.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, OSHA regulations, and company-specific policies for warehouse employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data entry, report generation, and basic analysis.
- E-Verify Experience: Familiarity with the E-Verify program for verifying employment eligibility.
- Human Resources Experience: Knowledge of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee record-keeping, and benefits administration.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for addressing customer and employee needs.
- Payroll Systems: Experience with payroll processing software and understanding of payroll procedures.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple administrative and HR tasks efficiently.
