Pay: $17.00 $22.00

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for using various machinery to efficiently pick and prepare furniture orders for shipment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating machinery in a warehouse or production environment and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery (e.g., order pickers, reach machines, or turret trucks) to pick and organize furniture items based on customer orders.
• Accurately identify furniture pieces, ensuring correct items are picked for each order.
• Safely and efficiently load furniture onto pallets.
• Work with the warehouse team to ensure orders are picked on time and accurately.
• Follow all safety protocols, including the proper handling of machinery, furniture, and equipment.
• Report any machinery malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain open communication with other team members and supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating machinery, preferably in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate machinery with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items over 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Forklift or machine operator certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays when necessary.

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
• Standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
