What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Data Processor position at Total Warranty Services?
The Claims Data Processor is responsible for entering data for maintenance, parts, and inspections. The Claims Data Processor sources parts, submits inspections, receives inspection reports, and monitors inspection status. This individual will handle several cases simultaneously and will verify claims are complete prior to submitting to an adjuster for authorization.
Details
- Validates parts list compared to MSRP and inputs into claims software to ensure claim is prepared for authorization
- Reviews maintenance record submissions, compares them against manufacturer requirements, and documents findings
- Resolves inquiries from adjusters on parts and maintenance related items
- Effectively collaborates and communicates with vendors, teammates, and all employees throughout the organization
- Presents information and respond to questions from Claims adjusters, directors, managers, and external vendors
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience working in the automotive repair industry preferred
- Must type at least 25-30 wpm
- Experience with database systems such as All data and On Demand software tools
- Must be able to multi-task and effectively balance competing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
- ASE or manufacturers certifications preferred
