What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Pricing Analyst position at Total Warranty Services?
The Client Pricing Analyst will support the deal proposal development process by liaising with the Client Relations Specialist with reviewing and developing accounting distributions for new account requests and change requests. The accounting distribution consists of reviewing rate structures for different product offerings and determining the correct financial set up of each product. While not specifically an accounting role, understanding of numbers is important. This role will be responsible for determining changes needed to new accounts and changes to existing accounts as well as properly documenting the setup of each product. Collaboration with other departments, including but not limited to Product Development & Pricing, Finance & Accounting, is crucial to ensure the correct and timely setup of deals. The role will be also responsible for creating and reviewing rate cards distributed to clients. In addition, the role will be responsible for reviewing production data to ensure the accuracy of data compared to the accounting distributions developed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build relationships and collaborate with internal departments, and senior management.
- Work with Client Relations Specialist to review and analyze deal proposal requests to determine the proper course of action for deal setup, identify exceptions requiring approval, as well as potential agreement impact.
- Understand and execute schedules for the F&I distribution of monies across all stakeholders.
- Ensure legal agreements are in line with accounting distribution and consult with Client Relations Specialist to coordinate any required customization.
- Review executed agreements, determine if changes are required for correct setup of the deal, and complete follow-up tasks required to correct, clarify, or research issues.
- Initiate the accounting distribution process for all teams within the process flow.
- Manage large sets of data involving F&I accounting distributions and document new and modified deal setups.
- Ability to analyze numbers across dealer setups and identify inaccuracies.
- Accurately prepare product rate cards to share with dealer partners.
- Liaise with TWS’ partners to ensure accurate completion of deal setups.
- Prepare use cases for the testing team to carry out and ensure accuracy of setups.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure department processes, procedures and guidelines are kept up to date and accurate.
- Identify areas for improvement, actively participate in and support new processes that are introduced, providing valuable feedback to ensure the success of initiatives.
- Create or amend operating procedures, and develop/maintain process flow diagrams for inter-departmental change initiatives
- Develop and produce key management reports to improve efficiencies, minimize risk and maintain compliance
- Review and store all documentation, correspondence and rate information in a designation location as instructed by company policy
- Other Duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, mathematics, accounting, or related field
- 3 years’ experience working in similar role
- Mathematically competent & demonstrated accounting sense required
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
- Experience with database systems required
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to use a continuous improvement approach to develop and enhance policies, procedures, and business initiatives
- Must type at least 40 wpm
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Excellent Microsoft Office (advanced Excel required, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
