The growing Development team is made up of experts who are nimble and ready to collaborate to meet market demands.
- Project Management: Oversee all stages of projects, ensuring completion of activities like site securing, permitting, tax abatements, community engagement, and interconnection coordination.
- Landowner Relations: Negotiate lease/purchase options and site control agreements; supervise local land agents.
- Team Coordination: Manage project development teams and collaborate with technical, engineering, finance, and asset management teams.
- Risk and Valuation Analysis: Evaluate project risks and valuation assumptions.
- Strategic Planning: Develop greenfield strategies based on market size, project availability, and alignment with company strategy.
- CRM Management: Maintain CRM systems for strategy review and activity reporting.
- Budget and Scheduling: Manage budgets, project scheduling, planning, and risk assessment.
- Project Handover: Facilitate handover to Asset Management.
- Competitive Analysis: Assist in developing competitive pricing and analysis.
- Finance Coordination: Prepare materials for project finance and sell-down activities.
- Budget Contribution: Contribute to budget and long-term planning exercises.

Profil du candidat
Education/Experience:
- 4-year degree, Master’s degree preferred.
- 7-10 years in renewable energy development (at least 2 years in utility scale solar/storage, eastern markets preferred)
- Experience managing direct reports.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, people, and strategic objectives; Project Management Professional certification preferred.
- Team oriented with a positive disposition.
- Strong communication skills and ability to summarize complex issues and convey information to enable efficient decision making.
- Subject matter expertise (e.g. real estate, finance, environmental, permitting, tax abatements) highly valued.
- Willingness to travel as needed to assure project completion.
