Facility Manager

Job description:

• The qualified applicant will be responsible for overseeing mushroom substrate block production and managing mushroom cultivators that are growing inside grow chambers.
• The qualified applicant will oversee inventory numbers on substrate blocks, grain spawn, and all materials involved and executing block production and mushroom production.
• The qualified applicant should have excellent time management skills that work in tandem with employee management skills and scheduling employees working hours.
• The qualified applicant should possess excellent communicative skills to work in tandem with outside entities within Totally Mushrooms LLC.

Qualifications:

• The qualified applicant should have at least four years’ experience in management in farm or factory assembly line style production
• Candidate should have a combination of manufacturing experience, attention to detail, and people management skills
• The qualified applicant should have high efficiency standards to plan and prioritize time sensitive tasks, such as block production, inoculation, mushroom tending, and mushroom harvesting.
• The qualified applicant should have high standards for cleanliness and maintain proper protocol for keeping the work environment clean.
• The qualified applicant should have basic knowledge of shipping and receiving coordination and keep meticulous records.
• The qualified applicant should have excellent time management skills that work in tandem with employee management skills and scheduling employees working hours.
• The qualified applicant should possess excellent communicative skills to work in tandem with outside entities within Totally Mushrooms LLC.
• The qualified applicant must be detail oriented
• Food Manager Certification is or will be required upon hire
• Knowledge of GAP and/or MGAP (Mushroom Good Agricultural Practices) are preferred
• Knowledge of Organic Certification practices are preferred

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
