We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Travel Nurse RN Long Term Care Director of Nursing for a travel nursing job in Boiling Springs, South Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and provide leadership to the healthcare team in a long-term care setting.
- Develop and implement effective quality management systems to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with staff development teams to create training programs that enhance clinical skills and promote resident and family support.
- Maintain strong relationships with community outreach partners to promote healthcare services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and up-to-date clinical knowledge.
- Serve as a trusted resource and leader to other healthcare team members, demonstrating empathy and passion for serving others.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience as a DON in a long-term care setting.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state assigned or in an eligible Nurse Compact State.
- Demonstrated competencies in health care management and operations, quality management, staff development, resident and family support systems, and community outreach.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR via American Heart Association (AHA).
- Two-step TB test.
- Physical exam within the last 12 months.
