The Role
With a focus on our Core Values of Integrity, Internally Driven, Fun and Respect, the Help Desk Technician is responsible for working with the IT Team to ensure the end user has the tools necessary to efficiently do their jobs specifically in the Windows/PC environment. This position will handle all Windows/PC computers and products, including Desktops, Laptops, peripherals, and accessories. The ideal candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision, as well as be an out-of-the-box thinker. A strong entrepreneurial mindset will be beneficial in this position
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist users with PC and Network related issues
- Maintain Desktop/PC hardware and software running on local workstations and resolve all hardware/software problems by either fixing the problem or replacing it with a working component.
- Relocate computer equipment to different users and locations within TotalMed, ensuring that connectivity works upon completion of move.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software, printer, and copier issues.
- Provide installation and support to users for all PC equipment.
- Inform customers of the progress of their computer repair while demonstrating excellent customer service skills and communication.
- Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM, with some night and weekend hours required as needed

What We Look For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years demonstrated experience PC Desktop and Laptop hardware and software support
- 1 year demonstrated experience troubleshooting Android and iPhone hardware
- 1-year basic Printer maintenance support
- 1 year Azure Active Directory user account support
- 1 year Microsoft Office365 support with cloud exchange experience
Great Things to Have
- Comfortable replacing internal components in a desktop computer
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10
- Working knowledge of Office 365
- Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Azure Active Directory Domain Services
- Strong customer and results orientation
- Ability to organize workload for effective project implementation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly communicate with Management, vendors, users, and IT Staff.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines
- Achieves results under limited direction
Compensation/Benefits Information
- The estimated base pay for this position is $18.00/Hour
- Base pay will vary based on internal equity, candidates' skills and professional experience, geographic location, market and other potential factors. TotalMed offers a comprehensive benefits package.
