Responsibilities
Provides direct care and support to individuals with behavioral health disorders, including mental illnesses, substance abuse issues, and developmental disabilities.
Implements treatment plans under the supervision of licensed therapists or clinicians, utilizing behavioral modification techniques and therapeutic interventions.
Monitors and documents patient behaviors and responses to treatment, maintaining accurate records and reporting observations to the treatment team.
Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and recreational activities, while promoting independence and self-care skills.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric nurses, to develop and implement individualized treatment goals and interventions.
Required Qualifications
CBHT may be required
BLS (other certifications as required by facility)
2 years of recent Behavioral Health Technician experience.
Strong communication and adaptability skills.
