Summary : The Engineering Technician supports a wide range of civil engineering projects by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and project performance. Duties and Responsibilities :
- Collect, organize, and analyze large amount of information from various internal and external sources with attention to detail and accuracy
- Perform data extraction, validation, and manipulation to ensure accurate study inputs
- Assist engineers in conducting studies utilizing Excel, industry modeling software, and other tools
- Work with large databases using tools such as Access and Excel
- Support the preparation of presentations and technical documents for clients based on study findings
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis and recommend best practices for data-driven decision-making
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by conducting regular audits, validation checks, and troubleshooting data-related issues
