What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at Toth and Associates, Inc.?

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safe use, maintenance, and operation of equipment (trucks, power tools, survey equipment, GPS equipment, materials, etc.)
- Use of survey equipment to acquire data on electric systems.
- GPS inventory all material and equipment for poles on electric systems.
- Accurately complete required paperwork (time reports, etc.)
- Promptly attend to client needs and concerns.
- Assist in the design of upgraded or new electric facilities.
- Drive, operate, and maintain assigned equipment in an efficient and economical manner.
- Provide quality customer service.
- Ensure proper work site cleanup.
- Use protective equipment.
- Perform all other duties as required.
Physical and Work Environment Demands:
- Work is primarily conducted in an outdoor setting with the possibility of exposure to extreme heat, cold, wet, muddy, and other adverse environmental conditions.
- Job sites may require traversing through rugged terrain in remote areas, up to 10 miles per day.
- Transporting heavy equipment to various job sites is required. This includes regularly lifting/moving up to 25 pounds and frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Experience in working outdoors
- Accurate attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to walk up to 10 miles per day through rough terrain
- Ability to read and follow paper maps
- Ability to travel out of home state on a weekly basis
- A work ethic that provides the ability to work solo without supervision
- Ability to carry 40 lbs of equipment to each pole
