Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer data packages, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to establish material requirements.
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop accurate and competitive quotes for customers.
- Evaluate materials and qualified sources to acquire these materials through internal team and customer communication.
- Review and analyze historical data to provide accurate and competitive pricing.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotes and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of cost for materials and relivant vendor selections.
- Continuously improve and refine estimating processes and methodologies to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage vendor qualifications as required.
- Comply with all ISO 9001:2015, 5S, and other applicable standards; ensure department compliance.
- Manage and communicate concerns and completions on BOM exports for manufacturing feedback reports
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or experience in a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing estimating, including experience with surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole technology (THT) assembly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other estimating software.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
