Mental Health Practitioner / ARMHS Worker – Intentional Communities
Pay Rate: $22.00 to $25.00 an hour
Location: Minneapolis/ Hennepin County
Schedule: Full-time, Weekdays (Monday through Friday)
Mental Health Practitioner / ARMHS Worker Responsibilities:
- Establish supportive and motivational relationships with community members.
- Provide adult rehabilitative mental health services (ARMHS) with members weekly.
- Support the admissions process and orientation for new members.
- Update treatment plans and functional assessments on an ongoing basis.
- Complete the discharge process for members leaving the program.
- Regularly meet with members individually to support client goals and needs for managing their illness.
- Encourage participation in weekly group meetings and other activities.
- Participate in group activities based in the community as needed.
- Maintain client records in an electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with other staff members, consultants, interns, and/or volunteers.
Mental Health Practitioner / ARMHS Worker Requirements:
- Must meet the definition of Mental Health Practitioner per Department of Human Services licensing requirements
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and personal auto insurance required
- 1-2 years of experience, 30 college credits in behavioral health, or combination required
- Experience working with adults with SPMI, chemical dependency issues, and co-occurring disorders preferred
