Job Summary
At Vannasane and Touloupas Dentistry, we aim to provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, through incorporation of our talented, multitasking, and compassionate staff. Currently, we have an opening for a full-time, front desk receptionist who desires to become part of an exceptional dental team that strives to provide top tier dental health services to our patients. Working hours are from Monday - Thursday from 8AM - 5PM.
We aim to find a front desk receptionist who possesses a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, as well as someone who enjoys working alongside coworkers who value teamwork and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a highly skilled and effective conversationalist, whose role is crucial in facilitating clear and open communication not only with coworkers, but with patients and family members as well. The technical skills required of the front desk receptionist include, but are not limited to: keeping patient records up to date and well organized, maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage incoming calls using phone systems, directing them to appropriate personnel or taking messages as necessary.
- Perform administrative tasks including data entry, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist with duties as needed, including verifying patient information and managing records.
- Provide support to other staff members as a personal assistant when required, ensuring efficient office management.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution or filing.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment.
Skills
- Proficient in typing, using phone systems and computer software for data entry, and office management. Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus but not a requirement.
- Previous experience as a medical, dental, or veterinary receptionist is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in proofreading documents.
- Ability to type efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, upbeat, and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
