Responsibilities
Front Desk:
- Greet patients courteously and provide excellent customer service.
- Accurately process patient payments for services rendered, including cash, credit card, and checks.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate financial transaction records.
- Reconcile daily cash drawers and prepare deposits.
- Address patient inquiries related to payment methods and account balances.
Accounts Receivable Oversight:
- Monitor and manage patient accounts to ensure timely payments and follow-up on overdue balances.
- Collaborate with appropriate staff to resolve discrepancies and insurance claim issues.
- Generate AR aging reports and assist in developing strategies to reduce outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all AR activities.
- Communicate with patients to arrange payment plans, if necessary.
Administrative Support:
- Assist in maintaining patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the front office and clinical staff to streamline workflows.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and provide updates on AR performance and trends.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/GED Eqvlnt.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

- Proficiency in using computer software, including dental practice management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
