Tower23 is currently seeking a Maintenance and Engineering Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-volume, boutique hotel & restaurant environment to continue the tradition of excellence and service for which Tower23 is known.
Must have the availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Requirements & Responsibilities include the following:
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor to our guests and co-workers.
- Performs preventative maintenance on guestrooms, public areas or equipment, as assigned.
- Responds to and repairs guest and co-worker service requests and/or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Conducts and keeps daily checklists and logs.
- Repairs equipment as necessary with minimal downtime and inconvenience.
- Keeps shelves stocked with adequate replacement parts as directed in order to minimize downtime.
- Perform daily walk through, record all meter readings and boiler temperature.
- Responsible for all functions within the Maintenance Department.
- Ensures that the department is functioning economically and efficiently.
- Ensures continuous improvement in the Maintenance Department.
- Practices good housekeeping techniques, including maintaining an organized and clean work area.
- Actively participates in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Takes a leader role and provides assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators, placing flares, and assisting guests, as required.
- Performs other related work, as required.
- Fulfills other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Ability to trouble shoot, get to the root of the problem and solve the issue
- Check pool/spa for chemical balance and filters.

Job Type: Part-time
Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
