Environmental Health & Safety Administrator
This position provides administration and training support for a fast-paced, family-oriented manufacturing company specializing in aluminum extrusion. The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) department offers training, risk assessments, injury prevention, regulatory, and safety continuous improvement services across three manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the EHS department in coordinating and maintaining training records, near-miss reports, OSHA logs, safety committee minutes, chemical inventories, environmental records, and KPI information.
- Foster professional development of facility staff as a leading change agent driving the health of our safety culture.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in safety administration or related fields within a fast-paced environment, preferably manufacturing.
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a training or safety coordinator.
- Team facilitation experience is preferred.
- A strong background in organization, communication, problem-solving, and planning.
