Manager EVS Operations CHEST

Operations Manager CHEST will work collaboratively with EVS Leadership to build an EVS department structure that includes training, quality control, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. (JCAHO,DOH and any other Readiness Preparedness). Provides leadership with support to EVS managers, supervisors, and staff members. Service line expert for ESCT production scheduling system, Epic Bed Management program, CHEST training and Sterile Operating Room Terminal cleaning trainer for EVS department. This position will also assist with payroll, scheduling, and recruiting for the department as needed.

Education Requirements

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• 2 year/Associate Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate Degree

Certification and Licensure

• HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) Certification within 90 days of hire
• Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) within 60 days of hire.
• DOT Certification within 30 days of hire
