Tower Hill Insurance Group has an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior HR Generalist for our Lexington Sporting Club assignment who enjoys intellectual challenges and is seeking a rewarding career with a company that is experiencing growth. Founded in 2021, Lexington Sporting Club (SC) is a soccer club that is a community-oriented organization focused on providing opportunities for youth development, fostering competition, and delivering exceptional professional soccer experiences. Lexington SC includes a professional men’s team who will compete in the USL Championship League starting in 2025. Lexington SC also launched a professional women’s team in 2024 that competes in USL Super League. In addition to the professional teams, Lexington SC is comprised of a youth club with 1,000 players, a pre-professional women’s team in the USL W League, two indoor soccer facilities, a $20 million youth soccer complex, and a brand-new state-of-the-art soccer-specific stadium that opened in September of 2024. The Senior HR Generalist oversees key human resources functions, including compliance, payroll, onboarding, and immigration-related matters for our super league soccer team. This role requires a skilled HR professional with advanced knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and league policies. This position is also responsible for supporting management with employee relations and performance management, conducting routine audits, and collaborating with senior human resources leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and state-specific regulations.
- Monitor updates to HR and labor laws and recommend policy changes to maintain compliance.
- Ensure HR policies and contracts are up to date and aligned with legal requirements.
- Process and oversee payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with wage and hour laws.
- Administer employee benefits and coordinate open enrollment processes.
- Conduct new hire onboarding, ensuring smooth integration and compliance with league and team policies.
- Serve as a trusted HR partner for team staff, coaches, and players, providing guidance on HR policies and workplace concerns.
- Ensure compliance with immigration laws related to work visas, employment authorization, and player contracts.
- Work closely with legal counsel to manage immigration documentation and sponsorships for international players.
- Maintain accurate records of work authorization status and contract terms for minor league players.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of progressive relevant work experience required. Experience handling work visas, immigration documentation, and contract compliance is a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
LICENSES
Valid Driver’s License required.
