SUMMARY
We are seeking an Experienced Regional Director of Sales & Marketing to oversee our 3-Vineland, NJ Hotels - Hampton Inn & Suites, our newly remodeled Holiday Inn Express & Suites our newly remodeled Wingate by Wyndam. Will be adding a new build dual branded Marriott in 2026!
A Hotel Director of Sales is responsible for increasing occupancy, driving revenues, and increasing profitability for hotel properties. This individual is tasked with developing innovative strategies to attract new business, expand relationships with loyal customers, and boost corporate contracts. This includes being active in prospecting, networking, and cold-calling potential customers while delivering presentations and proposals. The Director of Sales also oversees the sales team to ensure that the sales goals are being met and achieved.
JOB DUTIES
- Creating and implementing sales and marketing strategies;
- Managing relationships with hotel chain’s leadership;
- Growing sales through developing new potential accounts;
- Budgeting and financial management of Marketing and Sales department;
- Developing and maintaining direct sales force;
- Creating and managing relationships with local convention and visitors bureaus;
- Making decisions on incentive packages for team members;
- Organizing and implementing market analysis and research;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with groups and industry partners;
- Preparing and monitoring sales forecasts.
