- Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, servers, and SAN’s
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, software, and vendors
- Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions
- Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions
- Prepare cost–benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best-possible service and value for business needs
- Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed
- Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups
- Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of IT Infrastructure experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading a team
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware virtualization environments (vSphere, ESXi, etc.).
- Proficient in Fortinet network security and firewall solutions.
- Experience managing Cohesity backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Expertise in Windows Server environments and administration.
- Strong experience with IIS for web application management and support.
- Experience with BeyondTrust or other remote support tools is a plus.
