Tower Semiconductor is searching for an experienced Integration professional to manage a group of engineers supporting sustaining, yield improvement activities, process transfer, and development in a high-volume manufacturing fab located in San Antonio, TX. The Tower Semiconductor fab in San Antonio is a growing manufacturing site, delivering specialty electronic devices for a wide range of applications with high quality, low cost, and excellent cycle times. The qualified candidate will be self-motivated, have strong technical and analytical skills, and possess a practical, hands-on approach to engineering problems. Prior experience with process flow setup and integration, device targeting, yield improvement, team leadership, and failure analysis are desirable.
- You can take ownership of the process flows assigned and establish the direction for improvements, sustaining and overall operation.
- You can work closely with process and integration engineers to improve process metrics, such as SPC, yield, parametrics, and defects, as well as to achieve first-pass success of technology transfers.
- You can provide root cause investigation of discrepant material. Implement yield and defect improvement projects.
- You can troubleshoot process and tool excursions.
- You can develop new semiconductor manufacturing processes using design of experiments (DOE).
- You have strong leadership skills and can lead engineers of all levels of seniority
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with semiconductor fabrication tools, methods, and integrated process flows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidate must be able to communicate with audiences at any technical level.
- Experience working with customers is preferred.
- Must be a self-starter, dependable and highly motivated.
- Ability to work and communicate with equipment & process engineering to drive continuous improvement in all areas of the fab.
- Strong problem solving and data analysis skills.
- This position requires an adaptable, detail oriented practical thinker and problem solver who is a quick learner and who has the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
